The other problem with both BUTT and LadioCast is that neither will allow me to stream directly from my Mac, ie without using a radio server, something that Virtual DJ does allow, but then it doesn’t send song titles even when broadcasting from its own playlists! BUTT has an option to “Update song name from file” but /Applications/iTunes.app doesn’t work. Hence, although the audio source is Audio Hijack, I can select iTunes as the title source. Nicecast has an option to select a source for titles that is different from the audio source. The address to use is provided to you in the Share window of the Nicecast interface.
